These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Trovia mobile app, web app, and website (the "Service"), provided by Trovia ("Trovia", "we", "us", or "our"). Please read them carefully — by using the Service you agree to these Terms.
By creating an account, downloading the app, or otherwise using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using Trovia on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for business and commercial use, not personal or household use.
You are responsible for:
Trovia provides tools to create receipts and invoices, track sales, customers and debts, view analytics, and verify receipts via QR codes. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own business, subject to these Terms.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of the data you enter — including prices, taxes, customer details, and the receipts and invoices you issue. Trovia is a record-keeping tool and does not provide accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for meeting your own tax and regulatory obligations.
You own the business data you create in Trovia. We do not claim ownership of your receipts, invoices, or customer records. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, back up, and display that data so we can provide the Service to you.
The Service, including its software, design, logos, and trademarks, is owned by Trovia and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer any of those rights to you except the limited licence in Section 4.
The Service relies on third parties (such as cloud hosting and payment processors) and may link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and your use of them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service, and perform maintenance, at any time.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trovia and its directors, employees, and partners will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold Trovia harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your data, or your breach of these Terms or any law.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. You can delete your account and data from Settings → Delete account or as described on our Account & Data Deletion page.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. You agree that the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have where you live. Where possible, we encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
